We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the NVN Senior Citizens Organization. For those of you that do not know, the N is for Newell, the V for Vale and the N for Nisland. We encourage all seniors in Vale and Nisland, as well as Newell, to join with us to make this a vital and active organization.

The Senior Citizen Organization meets at 1:00pm on the first Thursday of the month, this is the regular business meeting. Dues are $10.00 per person. The food pantry is open at 1pm on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month. Pie Day is the 3rd Thursday of each month from 1-4pm, sponsored by the First Lutheran Ladies. Pie is 2$ per slice.
Several members are making afghans and have given 13+ afghans to residents in assisted living. We encourage card playing or crafts to all on the days we are open. We are always open for new ideas and suggestions to get more seniors involved.
Plan on joining in the activities of the Center. You do not need to be a member to participate in the Activities Day but we do encourage all interested seniors to join our organization for an annual fee of $10.00 and make our group “bigger and better”.
The NVN Center is available to rent for events and/or meetings.
Rental Fee
- $50 for partial day, no use of kitchen
- $100 for all day use and use of kitchen
